About Us
The Crimson Forge started out as an idea to build and create something special and unique with skill and craftsmanship. There are many welders, fabricators, and steelworkers in the United States and we decided we wanted to start something that is organic and personal. We hope to pour that into all of our finished pieces as we take on challenging and intricate designs and share our passion for metal working.
- JC Hillis
JC has been welding since graduating from Universal Technical Institute with a certification from the welding program and found employment from small contractor jobs to industrial steel fabrication facilities. From building small projects like a custom front bumper for his CJ7 Jeep, to heavy fabrication and restoration like that of the 1940's steel caboose into a short-term rental, JC has always had the eye and vision for metalworking.
- Gunnar Kai Hillis
Gunnar is an up-and-coming welder with a desire to become a skilled metalworker and has a talent for talking with customers and working with people. This is the start of his welding and fabrication journey and will be under the wing of his older brother JC when taking on projects. He brings his valuable knowledge of customer relations and woodworking skills to meet the high demands of the shop and is looking forward to exercising his full creative spirit.
